At DealBuddy, we are committed to creating a fun, fair, and transparent gamified e-commerce experience. Every user deserves an equal chance to participate, win, and enjoy deals. To preserve integrity and user trust, the following Fair Play Policy applies to all participants on the Platform.

DealBuddy is incubated at IIMK LIVE (Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode), recognized under Startup India (DPIIT Certified), and supported by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). As a responsible startup, we hold ourselves and our users to the highest standards of fairness.

1. One User, One Account

Each individual may maintain only one registered account. Creating or operating multiple accounts using alternate details (emails, phone numbers, or identities) is strictly prohibited.

2. One Device, One Account

Only one account may be used on a single device. Logging into multiple accounts from the same device is not permitted.

3. No Automated or Pattern-Based Abuse

All entries must be placed manually by the User. Submitting sequential or bulk-patterned entries, or using methods that exploit system mechanics, is prohibited.

4. No Bots, VPNs, or Emulators

The use of bots, scripts, emulators, VPNs, or any tool that manipulates identity, device, or location is strictly forbidden.

5. Ping-Ponging Golden Deals

No user may repeatedly cut and reclaim the Golden Deal in quick succession (“ping-ponging”). This creates an unfair advantage and undermines fair play.

• If detected, such entries may be invalidated.

• Winnings from that Deal may be withheld.

• Repeat offenders may face account suspension or permanent removal.

DealBuddy reserves the right to monitor entry logs and usage patterns to detect this behavior.

6. Entry Limits & Reveal Restrictions

To ensure fair play:

• Users may have limits on the number of entries per Deal.

• Golden Deal reveals are capped at five (5) per Deal with a two (2) minute cooldown.
  Attempts to bypass these restrictions will be treated as violations.

7. IP & Location Monitoring

Accounts that repeatedly log in from the same IP or device with suspicious activity may be flagged. While shared connections (e.g., family Wi-Fi) are permitted, coordinated or collusive play is not.

8. Device & Identity Verification

DealBuddy may require Users to complete identity verification or provide a self-declaration if suspicious activity is detected. Failure to comply may result in account suspension.

9. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this Fair Play Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at DealBuddy’s sole discretion:

• Cancellation of entries or wins.

• Withholding of Buddy Coins, rewards, or discounts.

• Temporary suspension of the User account.

• Permanent ban from the Platform.

• Legal action in cases of fraud or criminal misconduct.

10. Reporting Fair Play Concerns

DealBuddy encourages users to maintain integrity. If you observe suspicious activity, please report it at support@dealbuddy.live. Reports may be made anonymously and will be reviewed confidentially.

11. Policy Integration

This Fair Play Policy is an integral part of the DealBuddy Terms & Conditions. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these rules.
